Declaration 2: Appropriate management of conflicts of interest with customers

As a member of the Interactive Brokers Group, a global provider of financial services, we have established a Conflict of Interest Management Policy to appropriately manage the risk of conflicts of interest that may arise at our company or group companies, etc., so as not to unfairly harm our customers' interests. The Company's policy for conflict of interest management is disclosed below.

We do not recommend any specific financial products, nor do we receive any money or favors from the companies that originate such financial products in exchange for such recommendations. Our group does not originate any products, and products handled by our company are selected through strict procedures.

We believe that commissions are a major factor in maximizing our clients' profits and achieving stable asset formation. We have kept costs to a minimum by promoting the automation and systemization of our operations. We offer two types of commission structures, Tiered (variable transaction volume) and Fixed (fixed), depending on the trading style of our customers.

In order to help customers make sound investment decisions, we strive to provide transparent explanations of commissions and other fees, and we classify them by product and service, displaying the actual amount (or the actual value of the commission on the transaction price). We categorize financial products and services based on potential profit (return), loss and other risks, transaction terms and complexity, etc., and then grant trading authority after confirming suitability based on the customer's investment experience and level of understanding of financial products.

For information necessary for customers to make investment decisions, we use pre-contract documents, prospectuses, and product explanatory materials, and for high-risk or complex products and services, we try to provide easy-to-understand explanations using important information sheets and other materials.

We offer a wide variety of financial products and services from a wide range of countries and regions in order to provide investment products and other services that are appropriate for each individual customer based on his or her asset situation, investment experience, knowledge of financial products, trading objectives and needs, and income patterns.

For high-risk products and services, we have adopted a system whereby customers are authorized to trade after confirming their investment experience and knowledge, thereby ensuring that they do not take on excessive risk.
